FAQ

Pricing questions

How billing, regions and servers work.

Where is MODLR hosted?

Every MODLR server runs on our primary cloud provider, Akamai by default, in the region you select above. If your organisation requires a different provider (AWS, Azure or your own tenancy), we can host there on request as part of an Enterprise agreement.

Does my region change what I pay?

Yes. Each region sits in a billing zone with its own price book, reflecting what the underlying infrastructure costs us there. Prices inside a zone are identical across every region in it.

What is the difference between annual and monthly billing?

You can pay month to month, or commit for a year and be charged yearly in advance. Role and server prices are the same either way.

Do prices move with exchange rates?

No. Zone prices are held static between scheduled reviews, so your invoice does not move with the currency markets.

Which server size do I need?

Server memory drives how large a model you can hold in memory and how many concurrent users it serves comfortably. Most teams start at 16GB or 32GB and move up as models grow, and you can change size at any time.

Are taxes included?

No. All prices exclude GST, VAT, sales tax and any local equivalent, which is applied at invoice based on your billing address.
